Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to LineMod’s website, documentation, console, and OpenAI-compatible gateway.
The service
LineMod provides model routing, security guardrails, and observability through an API and web console. Features can change; documentation describes current behavior and is not a warranty. We may limit access while the service is invite-only.
Access and invitations
Self-serve signup may require an invitation. Submitting an access request does not create an account or a promise of access. You must not share invite codes except as we allow.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for safeguarding API keys, setting team access, and using the service in line with law and provider terms. Provide accurate registration information and tell us about unauthorized access.
Billing
Fees are billed in USD through Stripe for platform credits or a BYOK subscription, plus applicable tax. Failed payments may suspend access after notice. Invite-only periods may delay when billing starts.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, bypass security controls, or disrupt other customers. We may investigate abuse and suspend or end access for a material breach.
Model providers
Upstream model providers have their own terms. Content you send may be processed by those providers to complete your request. LineMod is not liable for provider outages or model output.
Suspension and termination
Either party may end a self-serve account through console flows or written notice. We may suspend immediately for abuse, non-payment, or security risk. Audit and billing obligations can survive termination.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. LineMod is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from model output or third-party outages. A signed enterprise agreement can replace these limits.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to our published operating entity, or if none is published yet, the laws of the place from which we operate the service. Courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local consumer law says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The date above will change. Continued use after notice means you accept the update, except where law requires extra consent.
